Some unreliable information obtained through searching through the web may be a source of dangerous and sensitive decisions, or be a reason for building knowledge about important things or beliefs in our life. To avoid that, a test of information must be made to ensure of reliability and credibility, One of these test is CRAAP test.
What is CRAAP test?
The CRAAP Test is a list of questions to help you evaluate the information you find. Different criteria will be more or less important depending on your situation or need.
The CRAAP was developed by Sarah Blakeslee at CSU Chico, and revised with her permission by NWACC Library, It stands for five evaluation criteria:
Currency: The timeliness of the information.
Relevance: The importance of the information for your needs.
Authority: The source of the information.
Accuracy: The reliability, truthfulness and correctness of the content
Purpose: The reason the information exists.


After Answering CRAAP test questions , We can get the total score of the source then we can judge it before relying it as a source of our knowledge,
